Fear and loathing hamper hopes of government deal in Italy

ROME (Reuters) - Deep-rooted hostility built up over years must be overcome if the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement and the center-left Democratic Party (PD) are to strike a deal to form a government and end Italy's post-election stalemate.
